Young Daters Don’t Care Much About COVID-19 Vaccinations
ICYMI: Young Americans Don't Care Much About COVID-19 Vaccinations When Dating In case you missed it, COVID-19 cases are on the rise in the U.S., but Gen Z and millennial daters surveyed by The Balance aren't too worried about whether or not the people they date are vaccinated against the virus.
Only 15% of respondents said they wouldn't date someone who hadn't received a COVID-19 vaccine, and nearly half say it's not an important factor when considering someone to date. At the same time, wealthier, more educated respondents to our survey were more likely to have concerns about a potential date's vaccination status.
The Balance also found that millennials spend an average of $69 on first dates, and the majority of both millennial and Gen Z daters believe in going dutch and splitting the cost of a date, at least some of the time. But even though the 40-and-younger crowd says they're in favor of dividing the check, a third of those surveyed said that whether or not their date pays can affect their decision to go on a second date.
Check out the survey for more insights from The Balance on the habits of millennials and Gen Zers when it comes to dating (and paying for it).
