Hi everyone!
Last week I got an email from Uber with an offer to pay $40 so that I could get up to 20 Uperpool rides for $2 each. In economics, this sort of pricing scheme is known as a two-part tariff, and of course I found it interesting that Uber was experimenting with pricing innovation. As a result, I decided to give you an article that explains the mechanics of the two-art tariff both from the producer and the consumer perspective. Hope you enjoy!
Cheers,
Jodi
