From F. John Reh, your Guide to Management
As managers, one of our most important jobs is to motivate our employees. Surprisingly, one of the most important parts of that job is simply to not demotivate them. Yet every day we see examples of managers, and even executives who should know better, doing just that. The latest glaring example is Yahoo! This week's articles are about performance management and keeping employees happy to keep them around - motivating your workforce rather than demotivating them.
